Shop Assistants

Looking for Shop Assistants for the duration of the Christmas season, duties will be reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will provide assistance and excellent customer service to the customers that visit our Shop E-Maistre which is located in Valletta, while ensuring that the shop is maintained up to the established standards at all times.

Responsibilities:

• The upkeep of the shop including maintaining clean displays, unpacking, re-shelving, and storing of stock as well as coordination of received deliveries.


• Operating the till and accurately handling cash and credit / debit card transactions.


• Assisting with regular and annual stock checks.

Requirements:

• Have proven working experience as a retail cashier or in sales.


• Have basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters, etc).


• Have strong communication and time management skills.


• Be customer satisfaction-oriented.


• Have attention to detail and mathematical skills.

Candidates that have experience in stationery will be given preference.

Must be reliable and committed to work during the holidays
