Job Description
Malta International Airport plc is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with people within an Airport environment and are willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Airport Parking Department.
Purpose of Position
To manage, oversee and coordinate the day to day running of the parking facility operations and Airport Parking team, ensuring the successful continuity of car park operations on the airport campus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
- General responsibility for the operation of the airport car parks, including Park East.
- Reporting any issues to the software system supplier and follow up on any pending development or system updates.
- Monitoring the performance of all kiosk operators and providing feedback as appropriate, enforcing high customer service standards.
- Following up on email requests and / or delegate work as required and in a timely manner.
- Providing information to and responding to inquiries from the public and stakeholders, including requests for card access.
- Strategically review the car park operation and oversee the efficient utilization of staff and equipment, including stock control.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing a team.
- Have good leadership skills and confidence in addressing operational challenges and deficiencies.
- Have good communication skills and a positive approach.
- Be knowledgeable of both written and spoken English and Maltese.
- Be capable of working well under pressure.
- Be capable of working on your own initiative.
- Be a confident user of Microsoft Office suite.
- Have a diploma or Bachelor’s degree level of education which will be considered an asset.
