Assistant to the Commercial Manager

A vacancy has arisen for the post Assistant to the Commercial Manager.

As the assistant to the Commercial Manager, you will assist in various areas by supporting the Commercial Manager with purchasing, sales and marketing.

This assistance will include:

• Drawing up and placing orders in line with the brands’ core lines policy to ensure the right product offering and optimum stock levels.


• Assisting with reporting on commercial aspects.


• Assisting with the implementation of marketing plans for the company’s brands and outlets.


• Maintaining Facebook pages and the company’s website with ongoing updates and improvements as required.


• Assisting with setting sales targets and monitoring of same.


• Visiting the market, speaking with customers and gathering market-related information.

Requirements:

• Good numerical and analytical skills.


• Versatility, can cope with different jobs.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - essential.


• Fluent and well versed in English.


• Good time management, planning and organisation skills.


• Enthusiastic and positive outlook.


• Good team player, yet able to work independently.


• Pro-active approach to problem-solving.


• Experience in a similar post with a successful company and/or B.A. degree in Commerce or related field will be considered an asset.
