General scope and purpose of the position 
We are currently looking for a Programme Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The Programme Manager shall be directly responsible for the overall planning, delivery, development and day-to-day organization of the disability programmes under their remit in accordance with any service agreement.  

Main duties and responsibilities 

  • Manage, organize and oversee activities and tasks related to team coordination, scheduling,  and other related responsibilities. 

  • Be proficient in conflict management and able to organize and lead staff giving clear direction and support as required. 

  • Continually seek to improve the standards of the programme through research, networking and collaborating with experts and colleagues both within Inspire as well as outside the organization. 

  • Own and manage the annual budget for the programmes under their remit, making the best use of resources while ensuring that all the necessary tools are available for employees to deliver a top-quality service. 

  • Ensure that all requirements for certification, licensing standards, as well as any accreditation standards are consistently met and maintained. 

  • Create and maintain a structure which guides employees through nurturing and mentoring (reflective practice), knowledge sharing and consultation, as well as measuring of performance. 

  • Motivate employees to take ownership and to be accountable for the quality of their work and to build confidence in the use of specific evidence-based strategies and approaches of intervention. 

  • Develop and run training programmes for parents, employees, professionals, and any other stakeholders concerning the developmental needs of the service users attending the programmes. 

  • Ensure the environment is appropriate to meet the needs of service delivery, collaborating with various colleagues outside the programmes as well as involving employees within the programme as and when appropriate. 

  • Liaise with, guide and collaborate with parents / guardians of service users attending the programmes. 

  • Oversee the recruitment process of employees within the programmes, ensuring an appropriate attitude and background of those persons enrolled. 

  • Collaborate and contribute with professionals to specialist reports, including end-of-term reports, monthly statistics, business plans, and reports related to service agreements and contracts. 

  • In conjunction with the Head of Therapeutic Programmes and Services monitor the performance and effectiveness of the programmes and ensure that they are in line with the current service agreement and certification / licensing standards.

  • Ensure that in collaboration with the therapeutic team, neurodevelopmental and relevant third-party entities are being implemented across the programmes with each activity adapted to ensure every client can actively engage. 

  • In collaboration with the therapeutic team ensure that therapy plans and their execution meet clinical standards and client needs. 

  • Address any stakeholder's concerns directly when and as required. 

  • Development of policies/procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) according to need. 


The ideal candidate should be in possession of the following

  • A recognized qualification at MQF level 6 or higher in Disability Studies, Social Science or relevant. 

  • Minimum (3) three years experience working in a relevant field / sector. 

  • One year of Leadership experience in a similar role. 

  • High proficiency in English language (both spoken and written). 


Prior to being recruited and throughout the duration of employment, the selected candidates need to satisfy the requirements of the Protection of Minors Act (POMA) together with those of immunisation.
