Workshop Controller

Industrial Motors Ltd specialises in Automotive and has an opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join our team on a full-time basis.

You will be responsible for overviewing the fixing of customers’ cars.

Tasks

• Control the start and finish times on the jobs required.


• Work closely with the Aftersales Manager, Service Advisors and customer care to ensure that the workshop adheres to the customer’s requests.


• Deal with customer complaints as instructed by the Aftersales Manager and follow the appropriate complaint handling procedure.


• Provide a timely and efficient service both at the counter and on the phone to avoid unnecessary complaints, queues, and delays.


• Obtain any necessary consent from customers for any additional works or services requested.


• Liaise with warranty personnel regarding any warranty and goodwill claims.


• Focus on vehicle throughput and quality of works performed, aiming for a first-time-right repair mentality.

Qualifications and experience

• Previous experience within the automotive industry, particularly workshop control or Technician.


• Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician.


• Holder of Malta / EU driving license.
