Spa Therapist

We are seeking to recruit a Spa Therapist to join a 5* Star Hotel Spa in the heart of Sliema.

Skilled, experienced, passionate, energetic and impeccably groomed Spa Therapists are required to deliver outstanding treatments and guest experiences.

Excellent salary plus Commissions together with extensive training will be offered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner


• Keep documentation and maintain clients' files


• Aware of contra-indications and inquiring about allergies and / or medical conditions


• Keep the treatment room you are working in clean and report any issues that need attention


• Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations without hesitation


• Suggest and promote retail products or additional services


• Maintain a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages, products and any promotions for the Spa


• Demonstrates flexibility in working hours to the needs of the business and fellow colleagues

Other Duties

• Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary


• Keep a clean work area at all times, report defective materials and equipment


• Promote and sell Spa products and services and have full knowledge of them


• To support and actively promote the Spa’s core values

Experience

• Ideally have two years experience as a Spa Therapist in a five-star spa environment or similar

Skills and Knowledge

• Hold a diploma in beauty and / or massage treatments


• Trained in Hammam treatments


• Fluent in English


• Have exceptional customer care skills


• Able to give product recommendations after each treatment


• Able to work under pressure


• Positive can-do attitude


• Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel and Word will be an advantage


• Able to work in a team
