Il-Veduta is situated just outside the fortifications of Malta’s old capital, Mdina, the restaurant has become a household name amongst families looking for the perfect lunch or dinner venue. Il-Veduta Restaurant is a very well-established restaurant which has been in operation for 30 years and due to a continuous increase in demand we are looking at expanding the team to continue driving the business forward.
Job Summary
Welcome all guests with a warm, personalized greeting, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Provide an exceptional level of service throughout their experience while consistently adhering to the pre-established standards of service in our restaurant and during events.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer engagement: Engage in key tasks such as waiting tables and seating customers when necessary.
- Guest interaction: Act as a direct point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
- Customer service: Address customer inquiries.
- Dining area maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area to ensure a positive and comfortable dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
- Willing to work 2 to 3 shifts per week, primarily in the evenings.
- Already have a valid Maltese residence permit or is a Maltese / EU national.
