The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations within the Ikonika Collection, day-to-day staff management and guest satisfaction. He / She should be an ambassador for the brand, provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments

The selected candidate will also be responsible for managing the Hotel’s team to deliver an excellent guest experience, whilst managing profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

Job Duties

  • Oversee the operations functions of the hotel.

  • Ensure full compliance with Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.

  • Handling complaints, and overseeing the service recovery procedures.

  • Responsible for the implementation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan and capital budget.

  • Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.

  • Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long-term strategic goals for the property.

  • Developing improvement actions, and carrying out cost savings.

  • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies

  • Maximizing room yield and hotels / resort revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.

  • Coordination with team members for the execution of all activities and functions.

  • Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with all team members on a daily basis.

  • Keep high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all rooms, kitchen and public areas.

  • Provide effective leadership to hotel team members.

  • Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health and Safety act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.


Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in a Management position.

  • Good command of English and other European languages.

  • Computer literate.
