As an Assistant Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the reservations process for our four-star hotel, be.HOTEL and the 5-star-hotel Hyatt Regency Malta, ensuring that all bookings are handled efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

As an Assistant Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the reservations process for our four-star hotel, be.HOTEL and the 5-star-hotel Hyatt Regency Malta, ensuring that all bookings are handled efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, email, or other method in a timely and accurate fashion
- Provide direction and leadership to the Reservations team, assisting them to achieve their potential and achieve overall departmental objective
- Ensure all administrative procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with the departmental and brand guidelines
- Monitor and maintain reservation systems to ensure accuracy
- Communicate with guests to confirm reservation details and provide necessary information
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information
- Train, supervise and mentor reservation team members to ensure high-quality service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase reservations and revenue
- Collaborate closely with the management team, prioritizing the overall success of the hotel and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry is a must
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian
- Proficiency in reservation systems and software
