You’ll be responsible for
- Provide timely onsite and remote support to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues.
- Proactively monitor and respond to user IT requests within Jira Service Management, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure appropriate system and application access is granted and removed accordingly.
- Set up hardware, software, and access for new hires; retrieve and secure company equipment from departing employees.
- Ensure employees have necessary hardware and software, including licenses, and maintain an inventory of IT assets.
- Track, manage, and order equipment and licenses, coordinating with vendors for procurement and issue resolution.
- Monitor and maintain network and system performance, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and network security configurations.
- Set up and maintain operating systems on end-user workstations and manage patches according to organizational policies.
- Manage Jira and Confluence platforms, configuring project permissions, workflows, dashboards, and templates.
- Provide training to users on best practices for Jira, Confluence, Slack, and other tools to ensure effective adoption throughout the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, including incident response procedures, security protocols, and infrastructure configurations.
- Enforce compliance with IT security policies and data protection practices, aligning with industry standards.
- Implement and regularly update security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and operating system patches.
- Monitor systems for security risks and vulnerabilities, staying informed on emerging threats to update security measures accordingly.
You’ll need to have
- Proven experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving end-user hardware/software issues across Windows, MacOS, and Linux systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and network security, with experience in monitoring and securing network performance.
- Proficiency with help desk or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management) for managing, and tracking IT support requests to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction.
- Hands-on experience in user account management, access control, and permissions across multiple systems, along with configuration of IT hardware, software, and peripherals for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Skilled in IT asset management, including tracking and maintaining inventory of hardware and software licenses, as well as coordinating with vendors for procurement.
- Knowledgeable in IT security practices, regulatory compliance, and security tools such as firewalls and antivirus software, including patch management and vulnerability mitigation.
- Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including incident response protocols, system configurations, and compliance policies.
- Experienced in administering collaboration and project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack), including configuring permissions, templates, and workflows for organizational needs.
- Strong commitment to high-quality user support and satisfaction, with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for efficient problem resolution.
- Clear communication and training skills for interacting with users across technical skill levels, with attention to detail in documentation, task tracking, and process implementation.
- Collaborative mindset for working effectively across departments, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years in an IT support or system administration role, with demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure and user support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge / experience within the gaming industry is considered a plus.
