Position Summary
The HR Clerk provides essential administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the efficient management of employee records. The role includes maintaining up-to-date records for Jobsplus, meeting with employees for contract signing, and assisting with various HR-related tasks. The HR Clerk helps streamline HR operations and ensure smooth communication between the HR department and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in line with company policies and Jobsplus requirements.

  • Handle the accurate and timely submission of Jobsplus documentation, including employment registrations and terminations.

  • Coordinate and meet with employees to sign contracts, ensuring all employment agreements are accurate and filed properly.

  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.

  • Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and external parties, offering assistance and information.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Possess excellent communication skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Possess a practical hands-on approach to work.

  • Have a very good level of written and spoken English and Maltese.

  • Be proficient in IT, including MS Office applications.

  • Knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR-related qualifications will be considered an asset.
