Junior Safety & Compliance Officer

Main role
Support the Safety and Compliance Manager in the daily activity including auditing activities, training management and preparing to assume the role of Deputy Safety and Compliance Manager.

The employee will be mainly based in Malta however, auditing / training activity may be performed with short journeys in all company locations in Europe and Africa.

Minimum requirements

• Knowledge of aviation regulation (preferred);


• Knowledge of auditing process (required);


• Knowledge of safety management system (preferred);


• Knowledge of human factors (preferred);


• Available to travel in Europe and Africa;


• Good level of the English language;


• Proficient in working with computers.

The selected candidate will

• Receive internal and external training on aviation regulation, auditing, and safety topics;


• Assist the Safety and Compliance Manager in the daily activity;


• Manage internal auditing activities, including preparation of audits, performing audits and post-auditing, with increasing responsibilities and self-performed activities;


• Support the safety management system of the company, including managing the training and the record of the training activities, the follow-up of the risk assessment and the safety reports;


• Assist with authority and customer audits;


• Manage events database;


• Support in documentation amendments and approval process.
