Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders meticulously and efficiently, taking note of any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu and its ingredients, while also remaining vigilant to any allergies or dietary restrictions as necessary.
- Foster effective communication with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Keep a close eye on guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Adhere strictly to food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and maintain food quality.
The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:
- Excellent command of the English language; other languages would be an asset.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude towards fellow team members, and guests.
- Able to work shift duties, including evenings, nights, weekends and / or holidays.
