Machine Operator

Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are a leading food packaging factory seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our team.

Working hours: 7.30 am till 4.00 pm – Monday to Friday – Including 30-minute break.

Salary: Starting at €16,000 per annum, plus bonuses (to be discussed during the interview).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain food packaging machines efficiently.


• Ensure that production deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.


• Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery.


• Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in line with factory regulations.


• Collaborate with the Production team to optimize the packaging process.

Requirements:

• Good level of English: Able to read, write and converse in English.


• Able to understand and follow procedures.


• Valid driving license (Category B).


• Clean Maltese police conduct certificate.


• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in operating food packaging machines (must be provided in writing).


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.


• Excellent communication skills and a team player.


• It is preferred that interested individuals possess a Food Handling Certificate.


• Computer literate, mainly in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
