Job Description

Giuseppi’s Restaurant is one of Malta’s longest established restaurants, with Chef-Patron Michael Diacono running the kitchen for over 20 years.

We are currently looking for the following candidate to join our team – Restaurant Supervisor.

A person responsible for the smooth running of day to day operations working hand in hand with the Restaurant Manager and Director, the role will include:

  • Food service
  • Welcoming and seating guests
  • Advising guests of any specials and assisting with beverage selection
  • Assisting wait staff with service
  • Stock taking
  • Ordering and receiving of stocks
  • Closing of daily cash and basic accounting
  • Consistent monitoring of food, beverage and service standards
  • Monitoring of health and hygiene standards
  • Handling guest complaints
  • Any other duties as deemed suitable by the Director

Requirements for all staff:

  • Fluent in English
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A passion for food, beverage and excellent customer service with an eye for detail
