The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for planning all maintenance requirements and ensuring they are performed and completed in accordance with the MPD, AMP and any other relevant requirements. The Senior Planning Engineer will effectively manage key planning processes to ensure all maintenance inputs are compliant with all airworthiness requirements and maximise aircraft serviceability.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Keeping in view the future fleet growth, prepare / update yearly maintenance grounding requirements for heavy maintenance.

  • Liaison with Line Maintenance Control department for day-to-day maintenance planning and defect control.

  • Compile and coordinate with the Logistics department and all other stakeholders the required material and tooling for upcoming maintenance.

  • Ensure that the fleet is maintained within the approved AMP limits and tolerances.

  • Ensure timely issue of maintenance work packages, review of completed maintenance paperwork, and maintenance tracking system update with compliance details.

  • Carry out technical review and feasibility study of first-time tasks (or complex tasks) to ensure effective implementation in line / base maintenance.

  • Monitor and manage implementation of high-profile / critical campaign modifications or tasks (e.g. mandatory modifications, software uploads, reliability modifications etc.).

  • Provide specialized knowledge in preparation and implementation of maintenance checks to ensure optimization of resources (manpower, ground time, materials).

  • Resolve queries and issues raised by certifying staff related to task cards encountered during the performance of such tasks.


Minimum requirements

  • Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or an aircraft Part66 license with additional relevant qualifications.

  • Airbus A330 and/or A320 experience.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a CAMO environment.

  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Have clean police conduct.


Work conditions

  • Full-time indefinite contract.

  • Remote work is possible at NPCA discretion.

  • Salary in line with the market and based on experience.

  • Work may involve occasional travel.
