We are currently seeking a highly-skilled I.T Systems Engineer to provide the business support, knowledge and technical expertise to implement strategies, evaluate products, and build upon an infrastructure that supports the ever-changing needs of our customers.

In this role, you will work with complex systems, be involved in high profile installations, manning IT projects, designing, developing, and integrating them at every stage of its life cycle.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations, testing, and maintenance
  • Implement and maintain IT solutions, backups, security, and redundancy strategies
  • Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement ICT solutions that support the businesses of our clients
  • Engage with upper management regularly with reports on project status, activities, and achievements
  • Business development and sales on both services and complementary products offered by the company

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Increase customer portfolio
  • Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want a system to accomplish
  • Use expert-level administration and optimization of hosts and servers to ensure high availability and appropriate resource management
  • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, and intranet systems
  • Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks to leverage IT support staff
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Routinely test software for bugs, redundancies, and security issues
  • Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures
  • Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions; oversee the overall IT strategy and daily operations of our clients for secure IT environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, technology, degree or relevant experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of operating systems and system applications; current equipment and technologies, system performance-monitoring tools, virtualization, servers and storage architecture, networking software and networking protocols, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, content delivery, and IT security
  • Expertise in creating, analysing, and repairing enterprise IT systems
  • Experience in project management and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
  • Sales and/or business development experience
