IT Support Team Leader

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Team Leader to join our team. This role involves maintaining our client’s IT systems and providing support for various applications used by our clients. The ideal candidate will have technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and good communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and supervision to the junior members to ensure that appropriate skilled resources are in place to meet the required service levels
  • Workstation and user support – incl. de/commissioning
  • Printers and peripherals support
  • Windows and Office 365 setup / migrations
  • Provisioning of IP phones
  • Monitoring and action / escalation of alerts from probes
  • Wi-Fi administration and support
  • Workstation backups and checks
  • Workstation and related basic network issues (patching, crimping and replacement of UTP patch leads and wall ports)
  • Remote desktop protocol access and support
  • User management on AD/Azure
  • Mailbox management
  • Office 365 backups
  • Survey kiosk / devices maintenance, updates and support
  • Updating of related ICT online documentation
  • Gathering and maintaining information on equipment at sites
  • Digital signage devices / TV maintenance, updates and support
  • Participate in an on-call rota

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Be able to communicate in spoken / written Maltese and English languages
  • Experience in system administration and application support, preferably in a corporate environment is considered as an asset
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, HP and HPE certifications) are a plus
  • A valid driving license

Location: Working remotely and onsite.

  • Summer – Monday to Friday 07:00-13:00
  • Winter – Monday to Friday 07:00-15:45
  • Saturdays – scheduled works
