Quantity Surveyor

ESSE Ltd. on behalf of Evolve RS Group are currently seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities include:

• Daily site visits and attending site meetings for design and progress with the coordination of the Project Manager;


• Monitor works carried out by sub-contractors at the site are completed according to drawing specifications;


• Measure the works carried out on-site and coordinate works measured between the site office and the administration;


• Report non-conformance in respect of workmanship and materials to the Project Manager;


• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements whilst keeping to project budgets;


• Delivery organisation and delegation of works to site workers;


• Liaison and coordinate work with subcontractors and general workers;


• Travelling from the office to various sites as required;


• Assist in working out the progress works certificate and final documentation;


• On-site quality control and snagging;


• Engaging in any other task commensurate with the role.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• 2 years of relevant work experience (essential);


• Candidates with knowledge of Autocad and/or Microsoft Project will be given preference;


• Good command of Microsoft Excel is being requested;


• Meticulous attention to detail;


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
