Job Description

We are looking for someone diligent, self-motivated and reliable who adopts a positive approach towards work. The successful candidate will be performing general accounting functions, maintain accounting records and perform other related duties in the Finance department as per company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions
  • Perform reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintenance of the company accounting records up to trial balance
  • Handling of administrative duties
  • Other duties as may be requested due to work exigencies

The selected candidate would preferably have the following skills and abilities:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting environment
  • A’ level standard in Accountancy
  • Proficiency in Shireburn Financial Manager
  • Have basic knowledge of computer skills including excel
  • Accurate and reliable person
  • Proactive with high motivation and a positive attitude
  • Possess strong communication skills in both Maltese and English
