Executive

EquestriMalta is a new regulatory authority set up to oversee all equestrian sports in Malta. It will be responsible for regulating horse racing, polo, and dressage, in a bid to strengthen the sector and help local competitors achieve better results in international competition. It will also be responsible for maintaining an online register of horses and horse professionals, facilitating the process of obtaining passports for horses and developing an exchange program to give local equestrian athletes the chance to train and race overseas.

With a view to building up its professional team, the organisation is seeking to employ an Executive.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Drafting and updating of Standards of Practice


• Controlling the Authority’s inventory


• Procurement according to Public Procurement Regulations


• Creating reports and research summaries for internal and external use and submitting them to higher management as required


• Ensuring that reporting systems are kept up to date with required standards


• Maintaining correspondence and documentation for projects


• Handling of the Authority’s generic email


• Direct / indirect assistance to Sporting Clubs and Federations


• Assigning tasks to clerical staff as may be required


• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, and superiors

Requirements

Either

• 2 A' levels, or equivalent passes, at MQF Level 4 in either English. Maltese, Maths, Accounts, Human Resources, Public Administration, Procurement, Management, Business Studies, Information Technology, Project Management, Quality Management, Secretarial Studies or any other related areas, duly recognized by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC); And a minimum of 3 years proven work experience in a similar role

• 4 O' level passes, at MQF level 3, which must include English and Maltese; And a minimum of 5 years proven work experience in a similar role, 3 of which must be directly related to procurement
