Job Description

E&L Enterprises is actively seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk to join our Administrative team.

Main responsibilities

  • Assisting our HR Administrator in preparing payroll for multiple employees including collecting data from timesheets and inputting data on payroll software;
  • Submitting day-to-day reports to third-party payroll provides
  • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.;
  • Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management;
  • Assisting with the onboarding and offboarding process of employees;
  • General administrative work and other duties emanating from the role;
  • Assisting in other financial, accounting and fiscal duties, as may be directed by the director from time to time.

Requirements

  • Proficient use of Shireburn Indigo is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to listen actively and to work on own initiative.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • 1-year experience in a similar job would be considered an asset.
