Job Description
E&L Enterprises is actively seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk to join our Administrative team.
Main responsibilities
- Assisting our HR Administrator in preparing payroll for multiple employees including collecting data from timesheets and inputting data on payroll software;
- Submitting day-to-day reports to third-party payroll provides
- Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.;
- Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management;
- Assisting with the onboarding and offboarding process of employees;
- General administrative work and other duties emanating from the role;
- Assisting in other financial, accounting and fiscal duties, as may be directed by the director from time to time.
Requirements
- Proficient use of Shireburn Indigo is a must.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to listen actively and to work on own initiative.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- 1-year experience in a similar job would be considered an asset.
