We are looking for a Notary Assistant / Secretary to be based at our offices in Gozo.
Requirements for the role:
- Proficient in both the written and verbal Maltese and English Language. Knowledge of Italian is considered an asset.
- Fast typing skills and can use Word for Windows and possibly Excel.
- Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- A person who can be trusted.
Work mainly includes:
- Answering e-mails.
- Organising appointments.
- Drafting of contracts and agreements with assistance from Notary and other staff.
- Ordering searches and following up on searches.
- Following up on deeds.
- Communicating with clients.
- Other notarial related work.
Training will be provided by Notary and assisted by staff.
No previous experience in a legal office environment is required.
This vacancy is offered on a full-time basis however part-time will also be considered.
