Job Description

We are looking for a Notary Assistant / Secretary to be based at our offices in Gozo.

Requirements for the role:

  • Proficient in both the written and verbal Maltese and English Language. Knowledge of Italian is considered an asset.
  • Fast typing skills and can use Word for Windows and possibly Excel.
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • A person who can be trusted.

Work mainly includes:

  • Answering e-mails.
  • Organising appointments.
  • Filing.
  • Drafting of contracts and agreements with assistance from Notary and other staff.
  • Ordering searches and following up on searches.
  • Following up on deeds.
  • Communicating with clients.
  • Other notarial related work.

Training will be provided by Notary and assisted by staff.

No previous experience in a legal office environment is required.

This vacancy is offered on a full-time basis however part-time will also be considered.
