Doneo Co Ltd is a leading importer of high-quality audio-video brands including Bose, Philips, and NEC. The company works within the retail, wholesale, and custom installation (CI) fields and is composed of a tight-knit team of employees. We pride ourselves on the ‘family feeling’ within Doneo where every individual is treated with respect. We are now looking to add an Engineer to our employee base.
We are looking for an ambitious and organized individual to design, execute and control custom installation projects for residential and commercial purposes. The individual in question will work closely with our technical installers as well as the sales team to ensure the smooth transition and delivery of the projects entrusted to Doneo with a focus on quality and customer experience.
The ideal candidate would be an Electrical Engineering graduate and should be enthusiastic and willing to work in a tight team environment whilst having the aptitude to learn and grow within the role under the guidance of our experienced CI team. Whilst not necessary any industry-specific qualifications or experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Overlooking, installing and configuring AV solutions, intelligent lighting control systems and home automation systems. (full training provided)
- Fault finding and rectifying AV / IT systems at the client site.
- Providing remote assistance and onsite technical support for clients.
- Attending handover meetings with the Custom Installation team to ensure familiarity with new sites.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on installed systems at the site.
- Providing technical assistance to service coordinators for handling customer enquiries as required.
- Follow, review and creation of system schematics and network designs- ensuring all details and any alterations are recorded.
- Represent the company with the necessary level of professional conduct and presentation.
- Reporting any escalated matters directly to management.
- Liaising with other project and engineering teams to develop customer and site knowledge.
Requirements
- Proficient in English (oral and written).
- Knowledge of the Audio-Visual industry.
- Advanced IT skills in home / commercial networking.
- Licence A qualified.
- BSc/BEng in Electronics and control or similar.
Preferred Skills
- Crestron / Lutron, qualifications / experience.
- KNX qualifications / experience.
