Plant Room Technician (Seabank)

We are currently looking for a full-time Plant Room Technician with db Seabank Resort + Spa.

Job Role
Attend to guest room malfunctions related to furniture, electrical faults, TV’s, Safes and plumbing
Attend to public area malfunctions.
Attend to other departments' malfunctions including events, entertainment and animation.
Ensure all malfunctions are recorded as ‘complete’ and assign time to repair on i-link.
Take all calls from any department of the hotel and prioritise works assigned accordingly.
Leave guest reports malfunctions cards in rooms and sign them.
Check material in sub-stores and order when needed.
Take pool readings in the evening. Communicate with pool attendants regarding chemicals dosage needed to be added.
Assist with any emergencies and attend to faeces in the pools, late afternoon or fire alarm activations.
Attend to health and safety issues arising during the day.
Check the plant correctly, after office hours (boilers, reservoir level, pumps etc..).
Before leaving always check the plant room again and close all the doors.
Follow and adhere to all Health and Safety precautions
Fill / transfer required amounts of water to balance reservoirs for daily usage.
R.O’s readings and backwashes.
Take daily / monthly reading for energy, LPG, fuel, chlorine levels, water and all outlets.
Assist junior plant technician and supervise his work where necessary.
Dismantling and re-assembling of faulty machinery, and requesting required parts for repair.
Write every job/preventive on the daily job sheet with timings.

Job Requirements
2/3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Have manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
Be conscientious with great attention to detail.
Have good time management skills.
Be reliable and work both independently or as part of a team.
