We are looking for a Hotel Front Office Agent to serve our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation in our well-established hotel, db Seabank Resort +Spa.
The candidate must be available in Malta or able to move to Malta without any visa requirements.
About the Job
Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
Manage online and phone reservations.
Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.
Promote all Hotel sales and in-house facilities.
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.
Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Organise desk and front office reception area.
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and tidy to accommodate guests’ needs.
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalised services for VIP customers.
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Administer the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner.
Requirements
Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role.
Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor.
Customer service attitude.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willing to work on a shift basis and during weekends and public holidays.
Verbal and written communication skills in English, and /or Polish, French or German.
Time management.
