Job Description

Job Purpose
The Payroll and HR Clerk is essential for the accurate and timely management of payroll processes and the efficient administration of human resources activities within the group of companies. This role involves maintaining employee records, overseeing payroll information, and ensuring adherence to applicable employment laws and regulations. Apart from acting as a primary resource for employees regarding payroll and Identita’ / Jobplus queries, the Payroll & H.R. Clerk enhances the overall employee experience. By utilizing strong numerical and clerical skills, along with meticulous attention to detail, this position contributes to the operational effectiveness of the HR department and promotes a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
  • Maintain employee records, including personal information, payroll data, and benefits enrolment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist in on boarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Qualifications:

  • MQF level 4 and / or additional education in Human Resources or related field will be considered as an asset
  • Previous experience in payroll processing or human resources is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Shireburn Indigo and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
