Job Description

We are currently seeking an HR & Events Coordinator to join our team.

What will you be doing?
Reporting to the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions, as well as, planning, organising, and executing company events.

Responsibilities

  • Organise internal events, including team-building activities, Company staff events, and CSR events, ensuring every detail is executed smoothly;
  • Develop event communications, including invites, agendas, and post-event follow-ups, ensuring employees are informed and engaged;
  • Gather feedback on events to continuously improve future event planning and organisation;
  • Coordinate with venues, vendors, and service providers, managing contracts, logistics, and budgets to ensure successful events;
  • Manage the Employee Recognition Program, including anniversaries, birthdays, etc;
  • Monitor the effectiveness of employee benefits (discounts, meals, parking, gym memberships) and making recommendations;
  • Coordinate the creation and communication of the employee newsletter;
  • Manage internal communication channels to ensure effective workplace communication.

Requirements

  • A degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a role involving event planning.

Skills

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent computer literacy with knowledge of Google suite and HRMS software;
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills;
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm;
  • Problem-solving ability;
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership;
  • A creative mindset with a can-do attitude;
