Corinthia St George’s Bay is seeking to recruit an ambitious, determined, and highly motivated individual to join our talented kitchen team. The selected candidate will support the hotel’s kitchen department operation and production.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the highest quality standards at all times

  • Preparing relevant mis-en-place, and producing à la carte dishes to specific recipes and methods

  • Following directions provided by the Head Chef

  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations

  • Maintaining the hygiene practices to comply with HACCP requirements

  • Maintaining and ensuring the highest quality standards at all times

  • Portraying a professional disposition

  • Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous work experience in a similar position

  • Have a valid Food Handlers Licence and HACCP Certification

  • Have an eye for detail

  • Ideally, hold an ITS Food Preparation and Production diploma or equivalent

  • Be able to work in a dynamic environment, self-motivated, and able to handle pressure
