Consolidated Biscuit Co. Ltd. is an established leading manufacturer of baked confectionery products and snack foods for both local and international markets. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will assume the responsibility for the Quality Assurance and Food Safety aspects of the company.

Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all aspects of the company’s Food Safety and Quality Management System are implemented.
- To form part of the HACCP team and play an active role in the maintenance of HACCP plans at the snack and biscuit production sites.
- To ensure that all products produced on site conform with the agreed standards of food safety, quality, and legality as well as customer-specific requirements.
- To manage a team of Quality Assurance Assistants and ensure consistency of approach for the inspection and testing of products and processes.
- To ensure compliance with the BRCGS food safety standard within the site through review and assessment of pre-requisite programs and the processing environment.
- Lead the investigation and root cause analysis for customer complaints.
- To identify the training needs of process operators and develop training modules to ensure GMP and standard procedures are clearly communicated to all staff.
- To be responsible for the calibration of measuring devices, laboratory analysis and incoming raw materials and packaging checks.
- To verify that housekeeping plans and cleaning schedules are adequate and effective through hygiene audits.
Requirements:
- A university degree in Chemistry and Biology, or an equivalent relevant degree at MQF Level 6.
- Previous experience in a food production environment or in a similar role will be considered an asset but is not essential.
- Be able to demonstrate good people management and organisational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
- Fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.
- Positive and can-do attitude, proactive and able to multitask.
- Have excellent analytical skills with emphasis on problem-solving, attention to detail, report and procedural writing skills.
- A result-orientated individual having the drive and flexibility to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
