The Climate Action Authority is looking for experienced and motivated Officers, eager to work in the field of Climate Action. The chosen candidates will have the unique opportunity to shape and push towards Malta’s mission in achieving Climate Neutrality.
About us
The CAA will be the public corporate body designated as the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Agency. It will also be the competent Authority for the Emissions Trading System. Other reporting obligations on greenhouse gas emissions and the implementation of market-based measures relating to greenhouse gases are also within its remit.
It is seeking to recruit: Officer.
Officers are responsible for the fulfilment of duties as assigned to them, and in line with the aims and objectives of the Authority and in accordance with relevant legal instruments, including, inter alia, the Authority Act, subsidiary national legislation, and European Union and international legal instruments as may be applicable. In particular, the chosen staff will be working on the implementation of market-based measures and the CBAM, and contributing towards relevant reporting as may be necessary.
