Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our Warehouse and Distribution team. This pivotal role will suit an individual with a proven track record in operational leadership, ideally within a multi-company structure. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing warehouse and distribution operations, vehicle fleet management, health and safety compliance, facility and property maintenance, and driving operational projects to success. This role will also play a key part in budget management, working closely with the CFO to ensure financial efficiency, and contributing to overall strategic planning alongside senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure optimal space utilisation, efficient workflows and accurate inventory control.


• Supervise the management and maintenance of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational availability.


• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain a safe workplace.


• Manage the upkeep and operational integrity of company facilities and properties.


• Lead key operational projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely, on-budget completion.


• Work closely with the CFO to manage budgets and drive cost-effective strategies to optimise financial performance.


• Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence and alignment with executive goals.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in operations management or a similar senior leadership role, ideally within a multi-company structure.


• Strong track record of translating executive vision into effective operational strategies that align with business goals.


• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams with a focus on alignment and efficiency.


• Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with the CEO, CFO, and team members at all levels.


• Analytical mindset with a focus on optimising processes, proactive problem-solving, and achieving results.


• Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organisation with evolving priorities and a commitment to promote a positive workplace culture.
