Here at Catena Media, we are the leading performance-based marketing company and a solid part of our strategy is to nurture a very dynamic and agile environment in all respects. We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management team within Corporate PMO.

The role will suit a passionate self-starter looking for a new challenge in an energetic, dynamic company. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will work closely with Catena’s Tech teams on various projects, and provide status updates to stakeholders and management on a regular basis. The portfolio will consist of projects in the areas of Tech-Dev, Tech-Ops, Process Optimisation and Data / BI.

Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of assigned projects and drive from inception to completion
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Identify the resources needed to reach project objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare project budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
  • Compile and manage the expected documents surrounding project delivery, such as project plan, action log, risk log and status reports
  • Liaise with stakeholders and maintain project expectations, also providing regular status updates
  • Ensure projects stay on track and deliver against the expected timelines and budget
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers, assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Deliver projects in line with PMO guidelines, utilizing industry best practices, techniques and standards
  • Monitor progress and manage change as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Support any other PMO tasks as required

You will need:

  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience working within a technology environment is a plus
  • Proven experience delivering projects utilising a range of methodologies (scrum / agile / waterfall)
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, (or equivalent qualifications / experience)
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
