About the job
As an Air Freight Agent, you will be responsible for the movement of our customer’s shipments and the main point of contact between customers, customs brokers, and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with airlines.


• Coordinating with ground transportation partners.


• Arranging collections and deliveries.


• Prepare and lodge import and export customs declarations.


• Communicate and ensure the release of freight from carriers.


• Data input.


• Complete documentation.


• Interaction with customers.


• Liaise with overseas offices and partner transport providers.


• Receive and track purchase orders from customers and overseas partners.


• Handle and manage contact regarding exceptions.

About the person
The position requires an individual who can work on their own initiative and under tight deadlines.

Training will be provided however IATA Cargo qualifications or previous experience in a similar position would be an asset. A sound knowledge of Geography and a high level of IT skills, in particular the use of Word and Excel is a must.
