Maintenance Person

We are seeking to recruit a reliable Maintenance Person to join Azzopardi Fisheries Ltd. The person will be responsible for handling duties relating to maintenance within the company, ensuring that everything is functioning properly and in good working order.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect electrical fittings and perform general maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, repairs in plumbing systems, etc


• Ensure that all offices and common areas are set up and maintained as needed.


• Coordinate with staff on any repairs required in the company.

Requirements:

• Basic maintenance and handyman skills (e.g., painting, light repairs).


• Solid knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing as well as the ability to deal with power tools and hardware.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.


• Knowledge of general building maintenance.


• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects.

The selected candidate must be willing to work and have their own transport. He / she must be able to communicate in Maltese or English.
