Brickyard Supervisor

Position Summary
The Brickyard Supervisor work in the various storage and transportation settings at the manufacturing and materials handling facilities stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all the finished products are properly stored in the designated areas in the yard.


• Coordinate work with the Sales Executive.


• Inspect delivered products both as regards quality and quantity and sign a respective delivery notes.


• Coordinate deliveries from precast production to the brickyard.


• Load finished products on the trucks.


• Unload just finished products from the production line to their storage.


• Prepare the necessary paperwork related to loaded products.


• Upkeep of the finished products’ yard.


• Ensure that only authorised employees are loading the products on the trucks.


• Clean up work area, and housekeeping.


• Report all accidents near misses, and injuries, no matter how slight, that occur on the job to Head of Department / HSE Officer.


• Wear personal protective equipment when working in hazardous areas, and/or as required.


• Inspect all equipment prior to use and report any unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor.


• Ensure that you are in good health and not under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs when performing your work.
