As part of the Fund Administration team your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Managing a team of senior officers and officers whilst working closely with them on most aspects of the day-to-day fund administration business, including valuations, transfer agency, compliance and reporting related to a number of collective investment schemes;
- Reviewing the work of and mentoring senior officers and officers whilst liaising with senior managers on issues arising as and when necessary;
- Taking ownership and managing your clients in all aspects and deliverables including audit liaison, tax reporting, regulatory reporting and any communication with the various Authorities;
- Establishing a strong relationship with clients, assisting with day-to-day requests and responding to their needs;
- Identify and provide training on particular aspects of the fund administration business as considered necessary;
- Keeping up to date with regulatory developments and alerting management with significant updates that may have an impact on the funds business and services offered.
Your profile:
- You are in possession of a university degree in Accountancy (or have completed ACCA) or a university degree in Banking and Finance;
- You have work experience in fund administration in a managerial position for at least three years. Experience in the local market will be considered an asset;
- You have good communication and writing skills;
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Happy to work as part of an international team;
- Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
- A strong interest in learning and developing a strong career in fund administration in Malta and other international offices.
