Job Description

Due to steady growth, we are now looking to hire a US-focused Renewal Sales Representative to join our sales team in Malta. With more than 50,000 customers worldwide, we continue to expand and reach new markets at a rapid pace. This position will help fuel our company’s growth.

As our Renewal Sales Representative, you will work directly with our customers and through our worldwide network of distributors and partners to ensure our customers are renewing their software maintenance agreements each year. Part of your role will involve speaking to customers periodically to ensure they are happy with Altaro and aiding them with any issues they might have. You will also answer daily questions from customers and partners alike as well as check and follow up on incoming leads.

This will be a great opportunity for you to develop this important aspect of our business. Your daily work will have a direct impact on the happiness of our customers which has an important effect on how many remain customers over the years.

This is a full-time role – Monday to Friday. Working hours: 14:30 to 23:00 since this position will focus on the US and Canadian markets.


  • Manage and track which of our customers have not renewed their service with us
  • Work with our distributors and partners to ensure they are all following up on their pending renewals
  • Contact customers whose yearly renewal has expired or is up for renewal
  • Create and deliver quotes for renewals
  • Contact customers periodically to ensure they’re happy with their implementation of Altaro
  • Answer incoming queries from customers and partners
  • Record all activity in CRM and other tools such as Excel
  • Achieve renewal targets
  • Follow up with leads
  • Report on activity and renewal rates


  • Excellent written and spoken English being fluent in a second foreign language is considered an asset
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar or customer service role
  • Comfortable making numerous phone calls a day
  • Extremely confident on the phone
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Superb customer service skills
