Aġenzija Sapport requires the service of part-time Executive III (Support Executives) on an indefinite contract basis.

The starting annual basic salary for the current year is €23,727 pro-rata with annual increments. Moreover, a number of other attractive allowances are also attached to this post.

Objectives of the role
The Support Executive will be responsible for the implementation and continuation of the Person-Centred Plan of the service users in liaison with the respective Leader and Coordinator of the Supported Independent Living unit.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in leading the team by providing assistance in teaching, advocating and providing support and respect to the services users;

  • Communicating with the respective leader and coordinator on client and staff issues;

  • Developing strategies for the implementation and maintenance for the planned programs, interventions and approaches;

  • Documenting and reporting information, as well as keeping self-updated by regularly referring to the documentation about service users and ensuring that information is recorded in a professional and proper manner;

  • Ensuring that community integration is developed through community outings;

  • Establishing and ensuring that daily routine activities are encouraged and consistently supported.


Flexibility is one of the key elements when working within the Supported Independent Living service. Therefore, interested applicants should be available to work a flexible schedule between Monday to Sunday including mostly afternoons, weekends, and public holidays.

Requisites:

  • Eligible candidates shall possess a relevant degree at MQF level 6 (180-240 ECTS) or higher;

  • Candidates who are in their final year of studies will still be considered provided that they submit evidence that they have been approved for the award of the qualifications in question, or successfully completed the necessary ECTS credits or equivalent, taken as part of a recognized MQF level programme of study, as required in the aforementioned eligibility criteria or higher, by the end of the current year. Such candidates will be offered a junior position until the official qualification is obtained.


Or

  • Currently studying at MQF level 6 (180-240 ECTS) or higher, and in possession of at least six (6) years’ work experience in the social sector.


Preference will be given to candidates who are able to communicate in both Maltese and English, as well as those who have followed psychology credits, to the benefit of the service users.

Applicants in possession of a foreign qualification/s are to produce with their application, a recognition statement on comparability of qualifications issued by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).
