Job Description

The HR Administrator is responsible for assisting the HR Manager in providing a comprehensive HR Administration service, ensuring a seamless onboarding / offboarding experience, and coordinating training and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the daily administrative HR duties of the Company and provide clerical support to the HR Manager
  • Assist in the recruitment cycle – post adverts, job profiles and descriptions, set interviews, shortlist CVs, reference checks
  • Process all onboarding and HR documents – offer letters, contracts, jobs plus engagement forms and CFR documents, termination, and monitor employee records maintenance
  • Prepare orientation materials and coordinate orientation sessions
  • Handle the distribution of uniforms and security access
  • Collaborate with managers to support the employee offboarding process
  • Support performance management by tracking goals, coordinating performance reviews, assisting managers in addressing issues and implementing improvement plans
  • Generate periodic and ad hoc statistical reports on HR metrics
  • Identify training needs based on performance evaluation, organise and schedule training sessions
  • Assist with the preparation of work permit applications for third-country nationals and single permit renewals
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of social events

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 1 years experience working within the HR department
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and Maltese Employment Law
  • Able to handle confidential information
  • Possess a clean driving license
  • Computer literacy (MS Office tools)
  • Speaks Maltese and English
