Bricklayer

Ta' Rdum Construction is an established group growing at a fast pace. We are now looking to recruit a full-time Bricklayer to strengthen, support and lead our existing team.

Reporting to the General Manager, the primary role will be in assisting the general manager in construction-related services, making sure that all deadlines are met in a timely manner and liaising with consultants when necessary.

This role calls for a dynamic individual who is eager to experience multiple areas and functions of the company to be able to grow within the group.

The main responsibilities shall include, without limitation:

• Analyzing and interpreting building plans.


• Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.


• Measuring distance from reference points.


• Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.


• Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level.


• Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.


• Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.


• Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.

Experience:

• 3+ years working in construction.

Language:

• Must have good knowledge of writing and speaking fluently in English.
