In summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive person to join our Accounting team, based in Malta. This is a key role to support and strengthen the accounting function and offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the success of our organisation.

Your day to day

  • Efficiently process a high volume of invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review invoices against budget and communicate accordingly.
  • Bank Postings and reconciliations.
  • Work collaboratively with various suppliers to address and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and process payment runs, adhering to payment terms and schedules and monitoring payment deadlines.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Contribute to the month-end closing process by providing accurate and timely information related to accounts payable.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in the accounts payable function.

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payables.
  • Proficiency in using software such as Microsoft Business Central and invoice approval systems such as Exflow, would be considered an asset.
  • Have advanced working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Being proactive, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
