V.J. SALOMONE Consumer Lines Ltd forms part of the V.J. Salomone Group of Companies, established in 1920. We are a leading import and distribution company representing international brands in the fast-moving consumer business.
We are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our Pet Division team. Reporting directly to the Pet Division Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be promoting internationally renowned brands such as Eukanuba, Hills, Miglio Cane & Miglio Gatto, Acana, Orijen, Iams, Applaws, Smart Bones & Furminator amongst others.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Promoting / selling our portfolio of high-quality pet products to a wide range of clients
- Build strong relationships with clients and foster long-term partnerships
- Identifying new clients and business opportunities
- Maintaining our presence in the field by keeping informed of new products and services and analysing the market
- Delivering exceptional customer service
Ideal requirements for the role include:
- Experience of the Maltese market and especially of the Pet sector
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure with good time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Fluency in Maltese and English
- Be IT literate and have a valid drivers’ license
