Providing exceptional and unparalleled standards of quality, style, and service. Our employees are regarded as our greatest asset and therefore, together with all stakeholders, we continuously strive to provide an environment that attracts the very best talent and encourages high-quality performance.

VistaJet is part of Vista Global Holding (Vista) – the world’s number one on-demand charter operator, integrating a unique portfolio of companies offering asset-light solutions to cover all key aspects of business aviation.

Maintenance Operations Control is the critical point of communication for various departments such as Maintenance Planning, Logistics, Engineering, and Operations, to ensure our aircraft are airworthy, and enable VistaJet to provide exceptional levels of service for our clients, through maximum fleet utilization.

Our highly respected Maintenance Operations Controllers make calls on the serviceability and safety of aircraft. Working closely with the rest of VistaJet’s Operations Control Centre, you will take calls from pilots experiencing technical issues and will help them resolve issues using the training provided by VistaJet, and your previous maintenance experience.

Due to the ongoing demand of business aviation, we are recruiting highly motivated Maintenance Operations Controllers to join our growing team in Malta.

Reporting to the MOC Manager your responsibilities will include

  • Acting as Flight Crew’s focal point of contact for any maintenance / technical issues
  • Evaluating reported aircraft discrepancies, developing and communicating appropriate recovery plans while diligently tracking RTS progress
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Parts requisition and coordination

This is an office-based role. You will be working on a 4-on-4-off roster. Your 4 on will be comprised of 12-hour day shifts, with one rotation per month covering the night shift.

Required skills, qualifications, and experience

  • Working knowledge of maintenance operations and aircraft-related technical manuals, along with an understanding of the manufacturer’s maintenance programs
  • Highly flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • A high degree of computer literacy

Full training in Malta will be provided, with the opportunity to complete a type-rating and spend time working in our Part 145 organisation, in Farnborough Airport.

Because of the nature of the business aviation sector and our high-profile clients, this is not your normal office job – no two days will be the same, your career with VistaJet will be dynamic, challenging, and exciting.
