Job Description
We are seeking to recruit Cashiers to join our shop on a full and part-time basis in our Naxxar shop.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the cash data.
- Ensuring the cash register is secured at all times.
- Maintaining accuracy in the receiving and dispensing of cash, ensuring cheques, credit cards and other non-cash transactions are handled according to our policy and procedures.
- Physically replenishing goods on display.
- Maintaining high-quality customer interaction.
- Promoting any ongoing offers.
- Being a team player and assisting colleagues where needed.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.
- Keep reports of transactions.
- Bag, box or carry groceries.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be able to speak, read and write fluently in Maltese and English.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners, and epos machine).
- Sales and customer service oriented.
