The company

The role
The Junior IT Support is responsible for managing one of the Group’s Companies or multiple Companies depending on the size and complexity of the individual Companies in particular the Mediterranean College of Sport. He/she will have a passion for technology and education, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.

The selected person will be responsible to:

  • Providing first-line technical support to students, teachers, and administrative staff, both remotely and on-site.
  • Assisting in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software for classroom technology (computers, laptops, projectors, smart boards, etc.).
  • Supporting the school’s network and internet systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and minimizing downtime.
  • Managing user accounts and permissions for school systems (e.g., learning management systems, email, etc.).
  • Assisting the IT Group’s team in supporting the wider business network, including desktop support, network troubleshooting, and basic server maintenance.
  • Providing remote and occasional on-site support to various departments within the Group.
  • Helping with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software across the Group.
  • Supporting the IT team in maintaining cybersecurity measures and responding to technical incidents.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or similar.
  • Familiarity with classroom IT systems (interactive whiteboards, learning platforms) will be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or school IT environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good understanding of Windows, macOS, and basic networking principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft technologies is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of server systems and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to assist users of varying technical abilities.
  • Team-oriented but capable of working independently on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Clean driving license.
