We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiters / Waitresses.
Role Description
As a Waiter / Waitress you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy.
- Answer questions about the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special requests.
- Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meals and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Handle payments, process checks, and provide change as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Work collaboratively with other restaurant staff to ensure efficient and smooth service.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages when appropriate.
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining the dining area and server stations.
- Stay updated on restaurant specials and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Waiter / Waitress or in a customer service role will be of an asset.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and change.
- Food Handling certificate.
