Servicing After Sales Administrator

Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, assist in troubleshooting to identify possible problems;
  • Take messages and redirect calls as required;
  • Checking of warranty records where required;
  • Deal with email enquiries;
  • Provide an efficient response to customer requests regarding servicing and after sales support;
  • Scheduling of appointments;
  • Assisting in the allocation of technicians to meet customer requirements on site;
  • Liaise with the department Manager or Technical Analyst to ensure a quick resolution is achieved while supporting in research and analysis as required;
  • Communicate with customers on the progress of jobs;
  • Upkeep of records with details / information of service calls and clients and assist in the preparation of reports as required;
  • Maintain filing system and client database;
  • Assist the department Manager with any miscellaneous administration required.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and an ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role based in an office environment;
  • Clear communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to speak and understand both English and Maltese languages;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

This position is on a full-time basis, working a 40-hr week from Monday to Friday. Given the sensitive nature of the department in which the person will be based, he / she may be required to work more than 40 hrs when necessary, which would be paid at an overtime rate.
