Job Description
We are currently seeking an Accounts Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor budgets and cost of sales to ensure optimal financial performance.
- Manage investment aid applications, including EU funds.
- Oversee property and motor insurance policies and renewals.
- Review, suggest, and implement improved internal controls across all departments.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff within the accounts department.
- Liaise with auditors during the annual audit process.
- Submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management and directors.
- Handle any additional tasks as required by management.
Education and Requirements:
- Proficient in accounting software and highly skilled in MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks with great attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Fluent in English.
- Degree in Accounting or a related qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
