P. Cutajar & Co. Limited is a prestigious importer and distributor of renowned global brands, including Ferrero, Lavazza, Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire, and Martini. Additionally, we operate retail stores under Solaris, Coccinelle, and Häagen-Dazs. With over 150 years of market leadership, we take pride in our reputation for excellence and innovation.
We are currently seeking a full-time retail Sales Assistant to join our team at The Store, one of our flagship retail outlets located in San Gwann. This role reports directly to the Retail Outlet Manager and Retail Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure The Store is consistently well-presented to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Support the Retail Outlet Manager in maintaining high standards of quality and excellent customer service.
- Assist in achieving the company’s sales targets and objectives.
- Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximise sales.
- Promote current offers and in-store promotions to customers during each transaction.
Requirements:
- A positive, outgoing and friendly personality.
- A neat and professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
- A valid work permit.
- Knowledge of wines and spirits is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail.
- Participation in a WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) course is considered an asset.
